hi, guys!
this is my seventh reflection.
Actually I’m confused about what kind of reflection which I have to write for
this time, but I have some new knowledge during we did the workshops last week (on Wednesday and Friday) ,
those are:
1. Pay attention in the way to write ‘example’:
If you write “for example” it has to be followed by comma (,) à For example, rabbit, cow, bla bla bla..
While if you write “the example(s)” it has to be followed by to be is/ are à the example(s) is/ are (without comma) rabbit,
cow, bla bla bla.
2. When you not really sure with the spelling of some words, just consult the
dictionary.
3. As we had learned in our structure class, if “because” is located in front
of sentence we have to use “comma” between independent clause and dependent
clause, but if “because” is located in the middle of the sentence or after
independent clause we may not use “comma”.
I think that’s all, guys..

reflection part VI
Assalamu'alaikum ..
In Wednesday was the last meeting for presentation
about paragraph in our writing course. There were three presenters at that
day, Trias, Lilis and Zaky. Trias presented about a
paragraph, the topic is the important of homework, which she said as
persuasive paragraph. Her reason is because in the end of the paragraph, there is
a statement which asks the reader s for doing their homework as soon as
possible. However it is not, it is an exposition paragraph, because the writer
tries to tell the reader why does homework is important. If the paragraph is
persuasive, it would give statements that persuade the reader from the
beginning of paragraph. The second presenter was Lilis, she presented about
classification paragraph with a little modification and clear
process analysis paragraph. And the last presenter is Zaky, she also presented
about a clear classification paragraph. Good Job, guys!
The next
assignment is we have to write about process analysis and definition paragraph,
good luck, everybody ! ^__^

Note:
1. Topic consist of word or phrase.
2. Topic sentence consists of a sentence. It explains what happen with the topic.
3. Topic and topic sentence not only appear in the beginning or in the end of a paragraph, but sometimes it placed in the middle of paragraph.
4. A paragraph sometimes is opened by one or more sentence, but it not consist of the topic. That is common, and that is part of supporting details.
